About Me

Kamelle received his BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Playwriting at Southern Methodist University. There he starred in roles such as Joseph Gasana in The Overwhelming, Stone in The Two Orphans, Franny in Balm in Gilead and George in Spring Awakening.  His first full length play, Where Pride Rides, was workshopped in the festival New Visions, New Voices as a part of the SMU’s 2009 Meadows Theatre production season. 

Kamelle is also an avid Solo Performer; his two original shows, the lady, the heart, and the flight and The Babel of the Black were both workshopped and performed at The Meadows Fine Arts College of SMU. 

Professionally he has been seen regionally at PCPA’s Theatrefest in Ragtime and Theatre Three’s production of Lost in the Stars. Here in New York City with The Forge’s production of Immortal: The Gilgamesh Variations, Inferno at The Under St. Marks Theatre, The Imaginary Life of Millo St. Jean with Snapdragon Theater Works and most recently MONUMENTS by Diana di Prima in New York City.

Outside of theater Kamelle is as nationally recognized Senior Instructor at SoulCycle, brand ambassador for Pepsi, Nestle, Lululemon and more and currently embarking specifically in life coaching and motivational speaking. 

He is the CEO of ENBEYES (pronounced N - B - S). ENBEYES is born out of his slogan “NO BULLSHIT” and that is the approach of this revolutionary production company. The unfolding of the creative endeavor commences this year.

He is also the founder of PROFOUNDations a 501c3 nonprofit that caters to Queer People of Color providing artistic and wellness opportunities to that marginalized yet magical demographic of folk.
